Drive east through highland scenery to Andasibe. Visit Exotic Park and VoiMMA community reserve. Night walk in the forest.

Full day in Mantadia National Park and Mitsinjo Reserve, looking for indri, diademed sifaka and rainforest birds.

Morning visit to Analamazaotra for close encounters with indri families. Optional Lemur Island before returning to Antananarivo.

Indri are most vocal in the early morning, which is when most guided walks in Andasibe begin.

Yes, the trails in Analamazaotra are fairly easy and suit families. Mantadia has longer, hillier walks.

Andasibe is about 140 km east of Antananarivo, roughly 3 to 4 hours by road.
