Drive east to Andasibe. Evening night walk to find chameleons and mouse lemurs.

Morning walk to hear and see the indri, the largest living lemur. Afternoon in a community reserve or Mantadia.

Return to the capital (about 4 hours). Afternoon free or a short city visit: the Rova (closed on Tuesdays) or the craft market.

South on the RN7 through rice terraces (about 4 hours). Afternoon pousse-pousse ride and craft workshops, or the crater lake of Tritriva.

A long scenic day (about 7 hours with stops): wood-carving workshops in Ambositra, then down into the Ranomafana rainforest.

Rainforest walk for bamboo lemurs, birds and frogs; optional night walk.

The old upper town of Fianarantsoa, then Antemoro paper and silk workshops in Ambalavao.

Morning with the ring-tailed lemurs of the Anja reserve, then across the southern plateaus to Ranohira; sunset at the Isalo Window.

Hike to canyons, oases and natural swimming pools.

Drive to the coast (about 6–7 hours) and the beaches north of Tuléar.

Free day: beach, spiny forest and baobabs, or a boat trip on the lagoon.

Transfer to Tuléar airport for your flight back to the capital (book early: domestic flights are limited).

This tour lasts 12 Days. We can adapt the itinerary to a shorter or longer stay on request.

Our tours are private: you travel with your own guide and vehicle, so the schedule adapts to you.

Our guides speak English, French and Malagasy.

The 30% deposit is non-refundable because vehicles, guides and hotels are booked for you as soon as you confirm. Further cancellation fees depend on how close to departure you cancel, and moving your trip to a new date may be possible. All details are on our booking conditions page.
