Drive east to Andasibe; night walk for chameleons and mouse lemurs.

Morning with the indri in Analamazaotra; afternoon in a community reserve.

Drive down from the highlands to the coast at Toamasina (Tamatave), about 5 to 6 hours.

Very early start north along the coast road (about 160 km, roughly 4 hours) to Soanierana-Ivongo, then the boat crossing to Sainte-Marie. Boats leave in the morning and depend on the sea, so we book the crossing in advance.

Boat trip to watch humpback whales in season (mainly July–September), or snorkelling and beaches.

Pirogue crossing to Île aux Nattes for a day of villages and beaches.

Flight back to the capital.

This tour lasts 7 Days. We can adapt the itinerary to a shorter or longer stay on request.

Send us your dates and number of travellers on WhatsApp (+261 33 664 07 77) or with the enquiry form on our contact page. We reply with an itinerary and a price, usually within a few hours during office hours. A 30% deposit confirms the booking.

Our tours are private: you travel with your own guide and vehicle, so the schedule adapts to you.

Our guides speak English, French and Malagasy.

The 30% deposit is non-refundable because vehicles, guides and hotels are booked for you as soon as you confirm. Further cancellation fees depend on how close to departure you cancel, and moving your trip to a new date may be possible. All details are on our booking conditions page.
