When to Visit
Plan your trip in the dry season, April to November. The roads to Tsingy and Kirindy are only reliably passable in these months, and the weather is best for the baobabs at sunset. The rainy season can cut off access to the interior entirely.
How to Get to Morondava
Morondava has a small airport with flights from Antananarivo, or you can travel overland via Antsirabe and Miandrivazo. Once you arrive, a guided tour takes care of all transport and accommodation so you can focus on the experience rather than the logistics.
