Drive or fly to Miandrivazo, meet your crew and begin the river descent in the afternoon. First camp on the riverbank.

Full day descent with village visits, swimming and birdwatching. Evening campfire and night under the stars.

Land in Belo-sur-Tsiribihina, then continue by 4x4 to Kirindy Forest. Night walk searching for fossa and nocturnal lemurs.

Morning and late afternoon walks to maximise wildlife sightings. Free time at the lodge during the heat of the day.

Drive back to Morondava with a final photo session at the Avenue of Baobabs at golden hour.

This tour lasts 5 Days. We can adapt the itinerary to a shorter or longer stay on request.

Yes, the descent is gentle and suitable for most fitness levels. Experienced local boatmen handle the pirogue; being able to swim helps but is not required.

Sun protection, a hat, a light sleeping bag or liner, insect repellent, a dry bag for electronics and a head torch. Camping equipment for the river is provided.

Facilities are basic — this is wild camping on river sandbanks. The crew sets up a simple camp each evening.
